I think this pic says it all it is a paradise,this is the drive way to our house and farm where we have 4 of the Tilapia tanks and we farm Bananna's ,coconuts,mango and many vegetables all organically .It is only 5 minits to town and 20 minits to San Pablo City and the malls as well as great shopping,its about 40 minits to the beach and yes it is very safe place to live ,our house has no locks and we don't need them, what does that tell you.
  The current exchange rate is 48 peso's to 1 American Dollar and it spends much like the American Dollar. Our current utility's cost us about $18.00 Dollars a month that is for electric ,water ,cable tv.,and telephone HUMMM!!! Our food cost for one month for 3 people is about $40.00 Dollars, and we have a housekeeper that cooks ,cleans and does laundry and it cost about $25.00 per month as well.I hire helpers to help with the farm from time to time and that cost me about $5.00 for 8 hours.

     The Banks are very stable and pay 7% to 9% interest on our savings, you can also have your retirement direct deposited while in the Philippines and can access by way of debit card as we do .Currently we spend 6 months here and 6 months in the states but plan on spending more time here each year. If you have an income of $800.00 per month that converts to about $40,000.00 pesos per month and with the cost of living so low we can actually save some money each month to travel on.The main airport is in Manila which is about 1 1/2 hours away by car or by bus,and of course is the capital and a very large city with over 50 million people. We like to fly to Hong Kong and shop also take holiday on the island of Mendoro both only 1 hour away and very inexpensive.

       The Philippine Government has finally woke up to the advantage of allowing foreign citizens to retire here as a big help to the government and the local people as it brings money and jobs to all. for we will hire local people to work and we will shop and spend. You can stay the entire winter here for less than 1 week in Florida and get much more for your money and be helping the local family's very much.
